The PR232 ultra miniature card reader copies all 3 tracks of standard magstripe cards. Each transaction is time stamped and stored in non-volatile memory for easy retrieval later. This reader has a longer swipe length (compared to other miniature readers) which minimizes any errors when swiping cards. It contains a built-in rechargeable battery which will give up to 30 hours of continuous use before requiring re-charging - that’s over 50,000 swipes! Also, the built-in automatic shutdown (user programmable) powers down the PR232 when it is idle to conserve battery power even longer. Re-charging is simple using the AC adapter - the battery is fully charged in 2-3 hours. The RS232 interface requires no special drivers making it simple to connect and use.
